Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is also used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." 

This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®. You will also be able to teach Reiki I&II and Reiki Master as Holy Fire® III classes. Karuna Reiki® is complete with eight practitioner symbols, one Master symbol, four Ignitions and two Holy Fire® meditations. A certificate and a 142-page manual are included.

The Karuna symbols can be used just like other Reiki symbols when giving Reiki sessions. When teaching, the whole method is taught in one 3-day weekend as described above. This is possible because the requirement to take the class is to have been a Reiki Master for a minimum of 6 months. This prior training requirement allows students to receive the ability to use each of the symbols in Reiki sessions and the ability to teach the complete system to others. Also, you’ll be shown how to give the Usui/Holy Fire® III Placements for Reiki I&II and Master. The Master class uses Ignitions which you will be empowered to give in your classes. This means that after taking this class, you and your students will be able to teach all levels of Reiki as Holy Fire® III classes.

Please bring lunch, a notebook, water, and a pair of slippers/ extra socks, and an extra sweater. Classes do have built-in breaks. 

Pre-requisite of Reiki 1 & 2 and MASTER from any lineage at least 6 months before the Karuna class (classes must have been in person – online or distance classes are not acknowledged unless they are ICRT certifications.)

Registration is required and space is limited, Reiki classes are kept to a maximum of 2 - 4 students to allow for appropriate practice time and questions. Please note that the class fee is $1044, including a 142-page class manual and class certificate, a $350 deposit is required and is non-refundable. The balance is due by the Reiki training class day, and you can pay by cash, cheque, credit card (online before class) or e-transfer. Payment plan options are available.

Attendance on all days is mandatory. Class times may vary slightly depending on the size of the class.
**All ICRT Reiki Master Teachers are expected to charge the same fees for Center Licensed courses.
