my journey to healing

Welcome! My name is Melissa, and I am Medical Intuitive / Medium and Spiritual Life Coach. I utilize all my training in Energy Healing and Limiting Belief modalities to support and empower my clients to achieve optimal wellness in their healing journey and to find their purpose and meaning in this world. I am also a Professional Member of the International Centre for Reiki Training (USA) and the Canadian Reiki Association.

I'm what you may call an "unconventional spiritual practitioner," because I don't really "look" or "act" the way you may think a spiritual practitioner would be.

I cuss like a sailor, don't have any magical powers, and am not from another planet (unless you ask my husband or daughter.) And according to her, I have no sense of style because I wear what is comfortable for the therapies I work with.

I don't randomly talk to dead people or animals (although I'm pretty sure if I spoke to your pet, they would ask for more treats and belly rubs), even though I am trained in Animal Communication and as a Medium.

It was my struggle......

The loss of health and wellbeing brought me to explore something other than modern medicine.

I struggled with depression after my daughter was born and then again a few years after when I severely injured my shoulder. I had a torn rotator cuff, bulging disks in my neck, and nerve damage that went all the way from my shoulder blade into my hand. And then, a year later, I fell, and I injured my knee and ankle.

I was frustrated with modern medicine. I realized that I had to find other forms of treatment to get me back to being myself. I was in the Healing Salt Cave and met an amazing Reiki Master, which led me to try tuning fork sound therapy with her. I fell in love with Tuning Fork Therapy.

Only a week or so after that session, I started feeling “normal” again and booked a regular Reiki session. After that session, I started to realize that the Reiki session was all I could think of, and it brought me to explore more about energy medicine.

After a Reiki treatment in September 2108, I walked out of the building and shouted out loud, “Why doesn’t everyone feel like this all the time!” So, in November 2018, I gave myself the best birthday present ever - Reiki Practitioner Certification - Level 1 and 2. It turns out I needed that downward spiral to find my True Path.
